Production, design and fabrication, permitting and marketing are handled in house by the same team, on the same schedule.
Silverback started in Lawrence, Kansas, in 2012 and quickly found its footing in large-scale event production. When The Color Run tapped the team to manage logistics and tour operations across more than 100 cities at its peak, mass participation and endurance events became a defining part of the business.
In 2015, Silverback expanded west with an office in San Francisco, building a strong presence in the Bay Area and producing some of the region’s most recognizable events, including Bay to Breakers, The San Francisco Marathon, SF Pride Parade & Festival and SailGP.
At the same time, the Kansas operation evolved into Silverback’s design and build hub, bringing ideas to life through custom fabrication and experiential production from concept through installation.
Today, those capabilities come together under one roof: producing large-scale events and experiences from San Francisco while designing and fabricating custom builds for brands and experiential campaigns nationwide.
Silverback manages every facet of event production, bringing together strategy, logistics, partners and on-site execution to deliver seamless experiences from planning through event day.
Silverback transforms ideas into physical experiences, combining creative design, technical expertise and custom fabrication to take concepts from initial vision through final installation.
Silverback navigates the complex permitting and agency process, coordinating with cities, public safety partners and local communities to keep events compliant, approved and moving forward.
Silverback builds the campaign around the event—strategy, creative and content that drive engagement, bring sponsor activations to life and capture the experience from the ground and the air.
